Sunil Aluvila
President/Chief Executive Officer
Sunil Aluvila is an innovator in marketing, product development, and the application of emerging technology in the vacation industry. For the past 19 years he has amassed extensive experience in market analysis; vacation club product development; e-business development; online marketing; development of interactive sales and marketing systems for customer acquisition, retention and value maximization; and development of strategic alliances with Fortune 100 companies. Sunil is a visionary and a strategic thinker with exceptional business acumen, leadership, marketing and management skills.

 

Sunil founded Vibes Interactive in 2005 to build and support a customer acquisition, retention and value maximization platform that connects vacation ownership and vacation rental companies with customers in inventive ways to deliver measurable results. As the President and CEO of Vibes, Sunil directs the company’s strategic planning, product development, online marketing, interactive sales and marketing solutions development and strategic alliances. He also serves as the liaison with Vibes’ advisory board and investors.

 

Sunil has held senior management positions heading vacation club product development, loyalty program and customer relationship marketing, e-business development, strategic planning and development of interactive sales and marketing solutions for Shell Vacations Club and Alton Leisure Industries. In the early 1990s Sunil served as the managing director of an international direct marketing company in India specializing in vacation ownership sales and marketing.

 

Sunil is the co-author of the article “If The Horse is Dead, Dismount!” published by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) in 1999, which specifies how vacation ownership product and marketing practices must evolve to meet the needs of the 21st Century consumer. Sunil received his M.B.A. from Schiller International University, Florida with concentrations in international business and marketing, and received his B.A. from India. Sunil also has a Masters diploma in computer science and a course completion certificate in LLB (Bachelor of Law) from the University of Bangalore in India.


Jeffrey Ring, PMP
Vice President, Technology
Jeffrey Ring is a senior technology development professional with extensive expertise in knowledge engineering, business intelligence, architecture assessment and web-based applications development. For more than 23 years, Jeff has successfully managed and performed major software development projects across a broad range of industries including health care, financial services, real estate and professional services. Jeff has led technical teams in the design, implementation and support of a range of web-based, data-driven applications and complex systems that support functionalities such as: CRM, inventory management, order processing, credit card processing, contract management, and sales and marketing statistics.

 

Prior to joining Vibes, Jeff was president of a full-service I/T consultancy which provided technology consulting services to professional services firms including marketing companies, health care organizations, and a national real estate firm. Under Jeff’s leadership, the company created a variety of web applications, including marketing-focused websites which featured customer database management, planning calculators, promotional enrollment, survey engine, event management and statistics reporting. Jeff has held senior positions in consulting, project management and systems programming at Fortune 500 and Inc 500 companies including Kraft General Foods, Discover Card Services and Metamor Technologies.

 

Jeff received his B.S. in Computer and Information Systems from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX; his M.S. in Computer and Information Systems with specialization in Artificial Intelligence from DePaul University in Chicago, IL; and his Executive M.B.A. from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, IL. Jeff’s certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Sun Certified Java Programmer certification, and completion of certificate programs in X-Technologies and .NET Technologies from DePaul University.

 

Since 2005, Jeff has maintained his role as President of the Chicago Chapter of the Independent Computer Consultants Association (ICCA). Jeff is also a corporate member of the Illinois Information Technology Association and an active member of: Project Management Institute, American Management Association, Association for Internet Professionals, American Association for Artificial Intelligence and the IEEE Computer Society.

 

Jo-Anne Redwood
Chief Creative Officer
Jo-Anne Redwood brings over 20 years of branding and marketing experience to Vibes. Having commenced her career at Landor Associates, recognized as the largest brand agency in the world, Jo-Anne was part of Landor’s core design team responsible for brand development and product launches for major US and global giants including British Airways, Pepsi, Raffles Hotels, and RJR. Jo-Anne and partner, John Taylor Dismukes opened their own firm, Capstone Studios, in 1985 and earned recognition for award-winning campaigns for Fortune 100 leaders in the entertainment, real estate and hospitality industries. As Capstone’s Creative Director, Jo-Anne has received numerous awards, been published in over 20 books, and developed the national multimedia presentation for Toshiba. Clients include Hyatt, The Irvine Company, Pulte Homes, Lennar, Universal Studios, Paramount, Warner Brothers and Toshiba.

 

In her role as Creative Director, Jo-Anne directs and oversees all creative projects for Vibes and its clients to ensure the highest quality work is produced and the creative vision is achieved. Jo-Anne leads Vibes’ creative team in the development of Vibes’ interactive sales and marketing platforms and related e-marketing initiatives, brand-building, implementation of all creative strategies and design and production of all creative and marketing materials.

 

Jo-Anne received her degree in advertising from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena. Prior to moving to the west coast, Jo-Anne attended the School of Visual Arts, and Otis Parsons in New York. Jo-Anne also attended University of California Irvine and currently co-teaches web-marketing at University of California Irvine. Jo-Anne’s memberships include AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), ADLA (Art Directors Club of Los Angeles) and WICT (Women in Cable and Television). Jo-Anne also serves as board member of EFC as Director of Marketing.

 

Dean Blume
Director of Marketing Operations
Dean Blume is a marketing and communications professional whose unique blend of creative and technical skills provide versatility and strength. For 10 years, he has thrived on solving business and marketing challenges by working collaboratively with peers, staff and partners to create and deploy results-focused solutions. At Vibes, Dean is responsible for the successful development, launch and marketing support for Vibes’ suite of web-based, interactive solutions.


Prior to joining Vibes, Dean was marketing specialist/account manager for a boutique advertising agency in Chicago, with clients in real estate and hospitality. There he worked with developers and sales staff to develop integrated marketing strategies and provide full-service execution. In 2006, his team received two awards from the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC) for the marketing of a luxury condominum tower featuring private residences and spa. As part of the management team, he was also responsible for operations, marketing, public relations and staffing. He was also a marketing specialist/coordinator for two staffing firms where he researched, tested and marketed traditional recruitment methods as well as web-based products including online job boards, microsites and applicant tracking/fulfillment systems. Dean is a graduate of Western Illinois University, with a degree in Public Communication and Human Relations with an emphasis in Organizational Communication and Management.
